PE4V Trail Ready
Terms of Use
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using PE4V Trail Ready or its companion website, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Educational scope
The Service provides general preparation prompts, skill-discussion cards, checklists, program summaries, and local note tools. It is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, mechanical, navigation, land-access, emergency, certification, eligibility, or professional rider-training advice.
3. User responsibility
You are responsible for confirming current laws, land access, trail closures, permits, weather, fire restrictions, event rules, insurance, motorcycle condition, protective equipment, training, supervision, physical readiness, emergency access, and communications before participating.
4. Programs and grants
Program areas are summarized from publicly available information. The app does not promise admission, membership, funding, equipment, reimbursement, event entry, accommodation, schedule, location, or eligibility. Confirm current requirements directly with Project Enduro for Vets.
5. Adaptive equipment
Motorcycle modification, adaptive controls, prosthetic integration, support equipment, fit, transfer, and assistance methods require qualified, rider-specific evaluation. Do not rely on an illustration, checklist, or general card as approval of a setup.
6. Emergencies and crisis support
The app does not monitor location, detect a crash, track a planned return, or contact responders. For immediate danger or a medical emergency, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service. Veterans and loved ones in crisis can call 988 then press 1, text 838255, or visit VeteransCrisisLine.net.
7. Local notes
You control the information entered into the app. Do not store government IDs, service records, health records, Social Security numbers, financial information, benefit documents, or grant files. You are responsible for device access and for deleting entries before device transfer or disposal.
8. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, misrepresent affiliation, infringe rights, or use content to encourage unsafe, illegal, destructive, discriminatory, or harassing conduct.
9. Third-party services
External websites, email, telephone, maps, sharing, crisis resources, and hosting services are operated independently. Their availability, accuracy, terms, and privacy practices are outside the app operator’s control.
10. Availability and changes
The Service may be modified, interrupted, or discontinued. Content may become outdated. A cached program note or successful website response does not guarantee that an event or service is currently available.
11. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, safety, non-infringement, availability, or error-free operation.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service operator and related parties are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for injury, death, loss, damage, interruption, missed events, lost data, or reliance on general information. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
